Care Guide

Light Bright, indirect light

Place near a bright window with filtered light. Rotate occasionally so growth stays balanced and symmetrical.

Water Let the top dry slightly

Water thoroughly, then allow excess to drain. Wait until the top portion of soil dries slightly before watering again.

Growth Expect “pups” over time

Many Pileas produce small offshoots. You can leave them for a fuller plant or separate them later once established.

Simple success rule: Bright light + a drying cycle between waterings = the happiest, best-shaped plant.
48-Hour Arrival & Unboxing

Live plants can look a little travel-worn after shipping. A quick reset helps them acclimate and settle in fast.

When What to Do Why It Helps
Immediately Unbox promptly and remove packing materials gently around stems. Prevents leaf/stem stress and allows airflow.
First 2–6 hours Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun day one. Reduces stress during acclimation.
First 24 hours Check soil moisture before watering. Avoids overwatering right after transit.
Within 48 hours Water only if top soil feels dry; let it drain fully. Supports recovery without waterlogging roots.
What’s normal after shipping: Slight droop or leaf tilt toward light. Give it stable light and time to adjust.

Shipping & Live Plant Handling

Live plants are packed with care and ship on a schedule designed to protect plant health in transit. Here’s what our packing process looks like—from soil protection to final presentation—so your plant arrives clean, stable, and ready to enjoy.

Our Packing & Shipping Process
STEP 1

We use wood fiber to cover our soil to help prevent soil spillage.

STEP 2

The wood fiber is placed over the soil, right under the foliage.

STEP 3

We then use a plastic bag to cover the planter and wood fiber portion of the plant.

STEP 4

Next we secure it tightly with a zip-tie.

STEP 5

We place the houseplant in a paper bag and secure it with a rubber band.

STEP 6

The paper bag acts as the final cover and is also a nice presentation.

  • Shipping regions: We ship within the lower 48 United States
  • Weather considerations: Shipments may be delayed when the team determines conditions are too cold for plants to arrive safely
  • Delivery timing: Tracking will be provided so you can track your package while it travels
  • Live arrival policy: If a plant does not have a safe arrival please text images to 208-640-4206 along with your name and order number

FAQs

Why is it called a Friendship Plant?

Pileas often produce offsets (“pups”) that can be shared and propagated—one reason it’s commonly called a friendship plant.

What light is best for Chinese Money Plant?

Bright, indirect light is ideal. Rotate the plant occasionally to keep growth even and symmetrical.

How often should I water it?

Water when the top portion of soil dries slightly, then let excess drain. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Do the leaves really “move”?

Yes—leaves can gently bob and reorient toward light sources, which is part of the plant’s charm.

Is the plant exactly the same as the photos?

Live plants vary naturally. Leaf size, spacing, and overall shape can differ—each plant is unique.

Is it safe around pets?

If you have pets or small children, we recommend placing plants out of reach. For pet-specific guidance, consult a veterinary resource for your household.

Great Product!!!
Color: 1PC-Beef-Red
This is the first toy my dog has not demolished. I need to buy more just like it just in case something happens to this one. It's worth every bit of the money I spent on it.

Yes, it will get destroyed. No, it isn't a waste of your money.
Style: Animal Sound, Size: Medium
Okay, I just wanted to say I've bought this item three times even tho my huge super chewer dogs inevitably destroy it, and here's why: It's NOT a chew toy! Pretty much *ANY* toy will not survive a strong chewer unless it is made from an indestructible material, and indestructible materials are often dangerous for doggy teeth. The noises this thing makes entices dogs to be extra violent on it. The trick is, you need to supervise them with the toy and if they move from chasing/bouncing it to "gnawing furiously" remove it and replace it with a safe treat toy to chew on (like a rawhide or antler, or a kong stuffed with frozen/difficult to remove treats) to satisfy their chewing needs on a safer item. This will extend the life of the toy. This way, the only damage it takes is from them mouthing/throwing it, which is what it is designed to withstand. This method is the only safe way to play with just about any play toy if you have SUPER chewers. There are many toys out there that will last longer, however, this one makes noise and that is super valuable to enrich your dogs' life. In essence, you're paying (insert current price of this item) to get several hours of SUPERVISED play time out of this toy over the course of several months. As far as noise makers go, this is only one of two toys I have found to hold up long enough to be worth the price. Go for it.

Such short fun!
Style: Animal Sound, Size: Medium, Style: Animal Sound, Size: Medium
So it lasted one evening. The concept is great and I expected this one to last much longer because of the tire cover. It stopped making noises about 3 hours after I opened it. Keep in mind they slept for 1 of those hours and went for a walk came back and played but ignored it because it stopped making noises. I've attached a photo. Keep in mind it arrived yesterday, gave it to the dogs at 6:30 pm. By 9:30 pm, it was done. I would expect this level of damage from a larger dog, but I have two mini Aussies. Only one of them would go near it. I also wouldn't care if the tire part got a little wear and tear but this is extremely short playtime. I also purchased the ball. It still works, so I may have gotten a defective one. Not sure. I'll return and try again. I posted a photo because the boy dog was totally into it. The plain ball that talks is a HUGE hit. It got lost but suddenly responded to their noises. It was so funny. I'll have to write a review for the plain ball.

X-TireBall Durability
Style: Jingle, Size: Medium
If you have a small dog or a dog that doesn't chew, this is a nice toy to play with. The labradoodle that received this ball loved it however, since he is a chewer, this product didn't last 10 minutes before it started to fall apart. The danger is that the dog can swallow the rubber and it will be an expensive trip to the vet. Summary: If your dog chews -DO NOT buy this product. If your dog does not chew - then it's a playful toy.. a cat will like to play with it as the bell is not too loud I was disappointed that the product said it was for dogs that chew but wasn't

Dog loves!
Style: Jingle, Size: Small
A neighbor found this in town for her dog, who didn't like the ball. She tossed it over the fence for our dog who absolutely loved the ball! The dog ran around the house trying to hide it & bury it, but would go retrieve it after a minute or two and repeat the process! Went to try to find a new one in town, but couldn't, so ordered it. Unfortunately, the ball is made out of hard plastic, which didn't hold up too well to a jack russell's terrior teeth. The ball would be perfect if made out of the "kong" rubber. We ended up using black electrician's tape until the ball totally fell apart...the dog was so sad -- looking all over for her ball, just had to get her another one.
