Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ 

Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ (PP30,035 Propagation Prohibited) has taken the houseplant world by storm! It’s no wonder why: This naturally occurring mutation of a regular ZZ plant features striking foliage. Our Plant Hunter first acquired it in early 2015, and we have been working on propagating this slow-growing beauty ever since. Raven was found in Asia (and patented by its discoverer, who has granted us exclusive rights to propagate it in North America), but the species is native to areas of Africa. Though you might not guess by looking at it, Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ is in the aroid family (Araceae) and related to trendy plants like monstera, pothos, and philodendron.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

I have bought 7 sets of this Basic pillow in the Standard size over the past 4 years, for my home and my boyfriends, using them both to sleep on and for my pillow shams. I love these pillows and my guests do too, best sleep ever and I have tried a number of expensive pillows prior to this. So when I recently purchased my first king size bed, I bought two sets of the king size pillow of this same brand, and I hate them. They are not the same as the standard size as they are flat, and no matter how much I tried to fluff them up, they fall flat in filling and firmness. After a few restless nights using my new king size pillows, I used the standard pillows I purchased in the past and there is definitely a difference. I see where there are different reviews/opinions on this, but this has been my experience. I will be complaining to Amazon, though not sure there is anything they can do since I used them.

    Ok, not as good as before, put in dryer to fluff!

I was going to return them, but read that putting them in the dryer on low heat for about 15 minutes helps fluff them. I did that and it definitely improved the pillows. I'll keep them, but they're def not as good as they were a few years ago.
