The Primer® Latex-Free Modified Unna Boot is designed for ambulatory management of venous stasis leg ulcers. The dressing is made on non-raveling thread locked gauze. It is impregnated with a non-hardening paste of zinc oxide.
It can be purchased with or without calamine. It is best used for managing venous stasis ulcers, lymphatic edema, minor sprains, strains, fractures, skin grafts, burn wounds and thrombophlebitis. The dressing contains no gelatin or preservatives therefore it does not cake and harden. It is packaged in a convenient vacuum-sealed pouch.
