Hydrofera Blue Classic Antibacterial Foam Dressing helps the body recover from deep and chronic wounds via autolytic debridement. Autolytic debridement is the natural process in which the body liquefies necrotic or dead tissue to heal a wound.

This foam dressing keeps the wound environment moist for better healing and promoting of autolytic debridement. In addition, this dressing wicks extra moisture away from the wound to maintain a proper moisture balance. It's also highly absorptive making it great for wounds with moderate to heavy amounts of exudate. These dressings are so absorptive because they are made from Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) Foam and two natural dyes: methylene blue and gentian violet. PVA foam has a cellular structure similar to sea sponges giving it that absorptive edge. Enzymatic debriders and fibroblast growth factors can be used in conjunction with these dressings allowing you to better manage exudate and bioburden. This foam wound dressing also protects you from a broad spectrum of bacteria including E. coli. This greatly reduces the risk of infection.

The foam dressing is available in three styles. Square pads, tunnel dressings, and ostomy rings. Instructions of Use Use sterile water or saline to moisten the dressing Cut dressing to size of wound and periwound area if present Apply Dressing Apply secondary dressing of choice If the dressing stays blue, it can remain on up to 72 hours. Otherwise replace after 24 hours Remoisten as necessary Product Features and Benefits Promotes Autolytic Debridement Protects Against Wide Variety of Bacteria Highly Absorptive Specifications Material: PVA, Methylene Blue, Gentian Violet

Lies
Update! They are cracking and falling apart already with barely being used and careful care. Complete waste of money. Original review: These are horrible, as far as the smell and not being properly sanded. They aren't pre-oiled like they claimed either. Not worth what you pay for them.

Sturdy cutting boards!
These cutting boards work great and are sturdy. They lose color quickly but re oiling them will help that. Good product.

Great quality for the Price
Surprisingly decent for the price! The wood is actually pretty and high quality, but the manufacturing isn't great. The set a received is quite rough and my wife continues to think she will get a splinter. They also are oiled but they are quite dry still and also smell heavily of the mineral oil they use.

Beautiful but terrible quality.
While I absolutely loved the idea of cutting boards with a stand, these were not the right choice. The wood is exceptionally soft and after the first use the gouges from my knife were pretty deep. After I washed the cutting board from cutting veggies, it started to splinter. Maybe I just got a defective set but I definitely do not recommend this set. Will be returning and getting a different brand/board.

A unique treatise
Format: Paperback
I've read part way through this book at this point, reading it together with a friend. It provides plenty material for discussion. It seems to me to be aimed at a seminary audience, as there are some theological and Greek grammatical terms used, but not fully explained. It's not quick reading, but it makes up for that in the unique content. The content is to take a dozen key passages whose interpretation has varied over the last couple thousand years, and show exactly how these interpretations have varied. The title of the book, "...in Full Circle" refers to the idea that some contemporary interpretations have more in common with the most ancient church fathers than they do with their immediate predecessors over the last four or five hundred years. All in all, it's a fascinating way of looking at scripture - through the eyes of influential authors over the course of almost twenty centuries.
