Versatile Brown

Brown in Town & Country

Brown shades are one of the most popular colors for shoes in menswear, and this rich, medium brown is a particularly handsome example. This tone was selected because of its almost unlimited pairing potential and ability to navigate multiple dress codes. The addition of stately tone-on-tone stitching further emphasizes its refined air.

Whether worn for work or for play, this brown will help you get around!

Finding the Shoes for This Belt

Pairing a medium brown belt with brown shoes is all about finding balance and cohesion in your outfit. Start by ensuring the shades of brown are similar; they don't have to match perfectly, but they should complement each other. Consider the texture and finish too: this belt has a smooth, polished look and will pair most easily with shoes made from similar leather, although some texture variation can create a pleasing contrast.

Harmonizing Belts, Shoes, Socks, and Trousers

When you take into account the color of your socks and trousers, along with that of your belt and shoes, you can create the impression of a more intentional, cohesive look that will elevate your entire ensemble.

Navy blue is a classic choice, offering a sophisticated contrast that works for both formal and casual settings. Charcoal gray also complements medium brown shoes, providing a balanced, professional look.

For a lighter, more relaxed vibe, consider beige or khaki trousers, which create a harmonious, earthy palette. Olive green can add a stylish twist, offering a subtle yet distinct contrast. Avoid black trousers that can clash with the warm tones of brown.

Don't Forget The Buckle!

The warm tones of this brown belt will appear especially striking with a gold buckle. A silver buckle, conversely, will appear more formal and understated. Both are excellent options so we suggest that you buy both, which will also allow you easily match your belt with your watch and jewelry.

Not sure what to say…
Format: Kindle
It’s pretty cringe story, but great if you just want to erotica. I Wish there was more at the end.

captivating story..
Format: Kindle
Wow.. you’re at a photo shoot in the jungle and suddenly you’re being attacked by natives making a daring escape, jump in a waterfall, float down a raging river to the ocean. Find yourselves stranded on an island for 3 months Helen and Lana fell in love. This was a captivating story, well told, Helen and Lana anguish felt real.

Loved this story
Format: Kindle
This is hands down one of the best books I've read. The plot was great, the characters were sexy, intense and just explosive. I did not stop reading until I finished the book. Was hoping for a better ending since it was such a wonderful book. When I saw it was reprinted I figured that was why due to the ending being rushed. I'm still giving 5 stats due to their chemistry and the intense love they shared on and off the island beyond their rescue. I just wanted more for them at the end, and the the loser husband to get what he deserved.I look forward to maybe a second book on their passionate love story.

I decided to read this based on another review here. I started skipping and couldn't finish it. The writing is good but the behavior of the MCs put me off at times. Our parents took us camping (not car camping) a lot through my teens and the lesson was, from my youngest age, if the excrement encounters the turbine, get your bearings, assess, make a plan, follow it -- no time for drama. There would always be time for a freakout once the situation was resolved. (And if it wasn't resolved, freaking out wouldn't be an option.) Apparently, neither Helen nor Lana were ever taught that lesson because there's plenty of drama, and I lost respect for them. Worse, the drama continues with this endless back and forth right up to the very last page. I actually blinked. I've read rushed endings before, but this took the cake. Overall, this is a portrayal of women that bugged me. It felt almost stereotype-y regarding being overly dramatic and unable to keep it together under stress. Maybe I just hit the bad parts, but I couldn't keep reading to find out, in case there were more, and the repeated drama after the rescue didn't give me hope. Please, Sapphic authors, can we have more books celebrating feminine resilience? Cara Malone has a pretty good one about a bunch of shipwrecked queer women. We need more of that, and less of this. I'm giving this book 3 stars because the writing is good and I didn't finish, so may have missed better parts.

If you can only afford one craft book on Dialogue, this one is it.
Format: Hardcover
The art of dialogue. How does a writer get it just right to be effective, yet original, dramatic but not too dramatic, captivating and satisfying, and most important of all convincing? The thrust of this book is how McKee spends time on characterizations and the art of the subtext—vital to thrilling and effective dialogue. McKee explains how subtext works, the thinking behind it, shows you its most effective moments, why it works well or poorly, and gives you the tools to make it work. The result: amazingly clear insight. No kidding, if you want to fully understand subtext in dialogue and sharpen your skills, this is the writing book to get. Conflict in dialogue, turning points, even sentence designs techniques. McKee describes the “suspense sentence” and the “periodic sentence.” Because prose is a natural medium for storytelling, you will learn how Charles Dickens used ‘counter pointing exposition’ and its effectiveness for the reader. I hadn’t seen this kind of hook in writing before, hadn’t heard this term before. Very powerful technique; of course none of us writes like Dickens, but what an example on how to swoop the reader in. What’s one of the takeaways in Dialogue by Robert McKee? “Quality storytelling inspires quality dialogue.” Which inspires a read of McKee’s other remarkable craft book “Story”—a great companion read as both books belong on any serious writer’s bookshelf.
